CONFERENCE 2022: REIMAGINING YOUTH MENTAL HEALTH

Headspace Denmark and Det Sociale Netværk are honored to host the 6th International Association for Youth Mental Health Conference: Reimagine Youth Mental Health in Copenhagen from 29 September – 1 October, 2022

What is IAYMH?

IAYMH is short for The International Association for Youth Mental Health and is a membership-based organization for professionals, organizations, policy makers, young people, and their caregivers/parents.

IAYMH’s mission is to change the way the global community talks about young people and their mental health. And what better way than to let the young people speak up and get involved?

Every other year IAYMH organizes an international conference. Unlike traditional medical research conferences, the IAYMH event is organized and delivered in partnership with young people. This year Headspace Denmark and Det Sociale Netværk are beyond excited to host the 6th International Association for Youth Mental Health Conference: Reimagine Youth Mental Health in Copenhagen ? and we want you to be a part of it!

Be a part of something extraordinary

The young people, experts, professors, and organizations from around the world are all gathered in Copenhagen to share knowledge, inspire each other, discuss, and find solutions to how we can change the way we talk about mental health.
We want to encourage as many Nordic young people as possible to attend to make sure the Nordic youth is seen, heard, and a part of the change we want to make for and with young people worldwide. This is our chance to let our voices be heard and put words into action – you don’t want to miss out on this!

Please notice that the online registration closes on Friday 16 September 2022!

Overwhelmed by a programme packed with interesting speakers?

We have highlighted a few!

Organizations from around the world you should keep an eye on

Jigsaw, Ireland

At Jigsaw, we are here to make sure that every young person’s mental health is valued and supported.

Mental health can affect every aspect of a young person’s life. We believe every young person must have the support that’s right for them, whatever they are going through.

allcove, California, USA

allcove centers are designed with, by and for youth, with the wisdom that we all just need a moment to reset before we can move forward.

They are places for youth to access a range of emotional, physical and social support services – on their own terms.

FOUNDRY, Canada

Foundry is a province-wide network of integrated health and wellness services for young people ages 12-24.

Our integrated services make it possible for young people to access five core services in one convenient location: mental health care, substance use services, physical and sexual health care, youth and family peer supports, and social services.
